Gifted &Talented Program Services

The mission of the Keller ISD Advanced Academic Services shall be to facilitate students in the development of skills, concepts, and attitudes within the cognitive, emotional and social domains so that they may become autonomous, life-long learners.

Kindergarten Gifted and Talented Testing

All kindergarten students will go through a KOI screener from September 14th-November 13th.  The referral deadline for teachers and parents of kindergarten students is December 4th, 2015. Kindergarten students will be tested January 19th-29th.

Want to nominate your 1st - 4th grade child for Gifted and Talented services?

Our testing window is April 18th-May 6th.  If you would like your child tested during that time, you must complete the paperwork and have it returned to your campus no later than April 1st, 2016.

The paperwork is located below in the "Classroom Information" section - click on the "Parents" folder and open the "Parent Observation Form".  Please print it, fill it out, sign it (we must have a signature-please do not just type in your name), and return it to your child's teacher.

*Teachers - the paperwork you will need to fill out for each nominated child can be found in the "Teacher Resources" folder located below in the "Classroom Information" section.  It is entitled 'Teacher Observation for Gifted Characteristics'.
