My name is Sarah DeVito and I am Basswood's new theatre teacher! I recently graduated from the University of Houston with a BFA in Theatre Education. As a pioneer of this brand new degree at UH, I was one of two graduates from the program! I grew up in Keller ISD and also had the opportunity to student teacher here, so I am thrilled to be back home to begin the next step in my education journey. This year is sure to be an exciting one in theatre! Our students will experience the fundamentals of theatre: character, movement, voice, visual elements, and even different forms of theatre from around the world. While I am excited about teaching the basics, I also look forward to guiding the students to work collaboratively with their peers, and to be able to express themselves with confidence. I am so excited to be a part of BWE this year, and look forward to showing the students the wonderful world of theatre! KELLERISD\28039Fine ArtsTheatre Arts Teacher12/7/2016 8:51:31 AMhttp://my.kellerisd.net:80/User Photos/Profile Pictures/28039_MThumb.jpgDevito, Sarah5db0ad05-1a3e-48ee-9096-a8a64ae9a8e8b4d4eeb3-33a3-4c3a-9546-4f15fa1daaf7
BWE ART Welcome to BWE ART! My name is Michelle Fuller and I am Basswood's art teacher. I graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in art education and a minor in Spanish. This is my twelveth year teaching elementary art and I have had the privilege to work at BWE since we opened in 2008. I have a very exciting year planned for all my art students! They will learn about the elements and principles of art, art history, different artists and most importantly, how to create art. My students will have the opportunity to creatively express themselves and work with different mediums, such as paint, clay, colored pencils, markers and oil pastels. I look forward to teaching art this year and getting to know your children. I believe learning about art is crucial to our children's' education. I plan to accomplish this objective by introducing my students to projects that are both fun and educational! Contact Mrs. Fuller Email- michelle.fuller@kellerisd.net Phone- 817-744-6500 KELLERISD\23723Fine ArtsArt Teacher12/7/2016 8:48:30 AMhttp://my.kellerisd.net:80/User Photos/Profile Pictures/23723_MThumb.jpgFuller, Michelle5db0ad05-1a3e-48ee-9096-a8a64ae9a8e8e0e33c2a-3d9e-4664-99ff-7d3ac3f50ac5

Hello! My name is Macie Steele and I am the music teacher here at Basswood! While I am newer member to this particular school, I am not so new to Keller. I grew up here and graduated from Keller High School in 2008. Afterward, I attended Tarleton State University as a Music Education major, served as a student teacher for Granbury ISD, and received a Bachelor of Music Education in May 2013 with all-level music certificationI have many plans and great ideas for this program. I want to make sure my students learn and love to sing, dance, play instruments, perform in programs, and even create and perform their own compositions. I love music and I do believe it is a vital part of every student's education.KELLERISD\28725Fine ArtsMusic Teacher12/7/2016 8:47:28 AMhttp://my.kellerisd.net:80/User Photos/Profile Pictures/28725_MThumb.jpgSteele, Macie5db0ad05-1a3e-48ee-9096-a8a64ae9a8e83a14e52e-7550-47e2-a1b4-57e174afc3ca
