To report a late arrival or absence, please contact Christine Itzkowitz via email​ or by phone at (817) 744-5000 prior to 9:55 a.m​​​.​​​  Any student arriving after 9:55 a.m. without proper documentation​ will be credited with an absence for the day.​​​​​​​​​​​​​

 

Chickens! Chickens! Chickens!

Our annual magazine and cookie dough fundraiser is in full swing and feathers are flying! All students should have received one free lanyard, one chicken, and the information packet. Additional chickens can be earned simply by turning in your completed postcard booklets or placing an order for magazine subscriptions (or renewals) or cookie dough. Please refer to the packet detailing everything you need to know about this great fundraiser!

A few notes important notes:

  • Turn-In Dates are: Postcard Booklets - 1/19 and 1/22, Online and Paper Orders - 1/23, 1/26, and 1/31
  • Chickens are only handed out on the designated turn-in dates
  • Payment must accompany any paper orders turned in. Paper orders without payment will ​be sent home with a request for payment. Chickens will not be given out without payment.
  • Checks should be made payable to GAO.

Personal Safety Programs - Opt Out Letters

Alliance for Children, Tarrant County’s Children’s Advocacy Center, will be presenting two personal safety programs​​ to our students on ​Wednesday, January 31 and Thursday, February 1

"Netsmartz" will be ​presented to 1st and 3rd grade students and "P.S. It's My Body" will be presented to Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 4th grade students. If you would prefer that your student does not participate in the presentation, please return the below letter to school no later than January 29. There is a link on each letter to a website where you can preview the videos (please note that the videos for grades​ 1 and 3 are different and are viewable best in Internet Explorer).
